The HOD of Department of Computer Application Prof. Pandurangappa H Welcoming the resource person Mr. Kalathil Karthik to Don Bosco college to conduct workshop on “IT Security and Ethical Hacking”. The faculties and students of all semester of CBA are participated. He started session from pre-emptive measure against malicious attacks to data, secure and managing the data, types of hacking techniques like black hat and white hat, scanning for loopholes, cracking the windows, hacking Linux, SMFA Attack etc.. the workshop ended by vote of thanks by Asst Prof. Rathan J

Prof. Panduragappa H welcoming the Mr. Ragappa K of Corel education solution to conduct workshop on “Corel Draw” to BCA Students of DBIBMS. He stated the practical session in computer lab to V semester BCA students. He explained tools on Image editing, text editing, preparation of banner and more.

A work shop on “Advanced C-Programming” by Mr. Aashraya Seth, Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay for 6 days Started from 17-Aug- 2016 to 24-Aug-2016. Spoken tutorial project supported by National mission on education through IIT, MHRD, Govt. of India and Bangalore University.

Welcoming the 2016 Fresh Batch BCA students on this “ Ignito Sparakazz 2k16” organized by Department of computer Application. The HOD prof. Pandurangappa H and HR of DBIBMS Mr. Changramouli had been Invited as a Chief guest. All the faculties and students of Don Bosco Institution have been participated. The event stared at 11AM by lighting the lamp chief guest and continued with inaugural speech. Later cultural programs and activities are conducted for freshers and the program ends with vote of thanks by Ms. Sindu.

The 2year students of BCA Mr.Prashanth and Ms. Sindhu welcoming the chief guest and Faculties of the various department. The program begins with lighting the lamps by chief guest and final year BCA students. Later chief guest awarded the best students, Topper of the class, Best athletic and guided about the careers in different sectors and higher studies. Last part of the program is ended by cultural activities and games. The farewell program ended by vote of thanks by Ms. Sindu.

Dr. U M Premalatha, Principal inaugurated the programme and wished students to take advantage of the workshop on “MATH SKILLS”, Vidya Foundation. The workshop was to help aspirants to acquire Maths skills and to bring confidence in them to face entrance exams and achieve success by maximizing their performance.
The session started by Mr. Ramkrishna B E covered fast addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square, square roots, cube , cube roots HCF, LCM, Fraction, problems on ages percentage average which could be solved in a very less time in One step answer and tips for competitive exams. Students participated very actively and it was very interactive session.
The workshop ended at 1:30 pm. The Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Murulidhara C, Asst Prof in the Dept of computer Application.
