The Don bosco Library is named as Dr. Raja Ramanna Center for Knowledge Resources .It was started in the year 2001 and inaugurated by
Dr. Raja Ramanna a great Nuclear Scientist and Physicist. RRCKR is the heart for the academic activities. It plays a proactive role in
enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing
and sustained needs of the academic community. It is situated in the ground floor, spread over around 800 Sq.M in the Main administrative
block. Designed in such a way it has natural light over entire day and provides a friendly environment to gain knowledge in an effective
manner. Library has well trained professionals to support the user community. Around 150 users can sit and read at any point of time.

MissionThe primary mission of the library is to support the students and faculty for the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information, consistent with the present and the anticipated educational and research functions of the institute.
Library Objectives
Collect library materials in all formats, broaden and update all collections to meet the needs of DBIT’s programs and support the various
aspects of the institution: teaching, training, research and services.
Provide access to library resources and servers via web pages and online recourses regardless of location.
Educate and assist college, students and staff in the identification and effective use of information resources.
Work closely with users; know their needs and interests.
To provide opportunity for a more advantageous use of leisure time through books, audiovisual materials, programs, and other art forms and
formats.
