The department of Telecommunication Engineering was started in the year 2009 Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University,
Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Ministry of HRD, Government of India and Recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
The Department of Telecommunication Engineering aims at providing quality education, both theoretically and practically. Students of
Telecommunication Engineering add a value to the department with a dynamic character and active culture towards learning and delivering
through assigned projects guided by faculty. The infrastructure facility of the department enables the students and staff to develop a
cohesive learning environment, to keep the students with abstract with the latest technological advances.
The Telecommunication Engineering is a professional program, broad discipline encompassing the subjects relating to Electronics,
Telecommunications, VLSI Design, Digital Signal processing, Computer Networking etc. This program offers a wide range of Technical
and Programming skills, which starts right from second semester of the program to provide vital knowledge of different fields of

To maintain well-equipped labs to support the prescribed curriculum and provision for R&D
To develop a team of well qualified teachers with essential terminal degrees.
To adopt the policies and procedures of statutory bodies and corporate accreditation standards.
To inculcate proactive teaching practices through involvement of students in classroom participation, seminars, workshops, guest lectures and industrial visits.
To create provision to obtain membership and additional certification in the area of telecommunication.
To develop a pool of graduates with distinction and making them effective professionals of employability and entrepreneurship.
Circuit Designer, PCB Designer, Circuit testing Engineer, Network Engineer, Communication Engineer, Signal Analyst, signal testing,
MEMS Designer, Automation Engineer, Automotive Engineer, Robotics Engineer, Chip Designer, software and Hardware Engineer.
Department has adequate classrooms with latest technology, supported by three laboratories. Specific library has been made available
for the department. Department has internet facility with 30 systems lab. .Students is supported with indoor and outdoor auditorium to
conduct various programs. All the faculty members have separate cabins for the academic and department administration. The department
provides purified water for students and faculty and rest rooms for boys and girls.
