Department of Civil Engineering (CV) was established in the year 2013.The department runs undergraduate program with an intake of 60 seats.
The program is approved by AICTE and affiliated to VTU, Belgaum. The department is focused towards growth and technology trends with
well-furnished laboratories. The Department has highly efficient and qualified faculty with industrial experience. Technical
Seminars/Guest Lectures are being conducted by the Department regularly. An excellent academic and research environment is available
for creative and productive work both for faculty as well as students.

To make the Student more Industry Competent, Software training program in addition to VTU syllabus like AutoCAD, REVET, CYPE, 3D STUDIOMAX, Total Station, STADPRO, are organized from Industry Expert.
To develop a pool of graduates with distinction and making them effective professionals of employability and entrepreneurship.
Civil engineering students after graduation have ample opportunities as Building Control Surveyor, Building Services Engineer, Engineering
Geologist, Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineer, Structural Engineer, Water Engineer, Project which are relevant with Tunnels, Harbors, Dams,
Bridges, and Electricity Generating Stations.
The department is well equipped with Lab Facilities such as Material Testing Lab, Survey Practice-I & II, Applied engineering Geology Lab,
H&HM Lab, and Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Concrete &Highway Lab, Environmental Lab as per VTU Syllabus. Each Lab is very spacious with
sufficient lab equipment and Display items such as Charts & Major equipment list.
The Department has an excellent infrastructure that includes classrooms, Laboratory and Drawing halls. The department has well maintained
rest rooms for girls and boys, facility signboards and RO purified drinking water facility.
