Ms. Mamatha U is an Assistant Professor in the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of Don Bosco Institute of Technology. She has done her Under Graduation in 2011 with Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University and Post Graduation in 2014 with Master of Technology in VLSI System Design from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. She is serving as Assistant Professor since 2011 to till date has 5.6 years of Teaching Experience & 3 years of Industrial experience at ISRO Satellite Centre. She is interested in learning progressions with descriptions of increasingly sophisticated ways of thinking about a topic. She is inquisitive in exploring teaching practices that promote Technical & practical learning for all students through the use of curriculum as well as video-based representations of teaching. She has also Published National & International Papers & Journals in the field of VLSI, Embedded Systems & Signal Processing. Her areas of interests include Signal Processing & Microcontrollers.

Academic and Co-curricular Responsibilities :
She is sincerely committed to her responsibilities and is engaged in Mentoring, Project Guidance and other Department related activities such as Class Teacher, Lab In-charge, Department Library In-charge, Department VTU online Co-ordinator and College Discipline Committee member. She has guided 8 UG & 2 PG Projects. She has organized a “Technical Quiz” event under ELECTRONICA Forum for students in Feb 2016, at DBIT. She had conducted a workshop on “Analog & Digital Devices” under ELECTRONICA Forum in August 2016 for 3rd semester Students at DBIT. She also motivates students to apply for KSCST student project programme.

Courses Handled :
She is expertise in Signal Processing & Embedded Systems and delivers Lecture on subjects like Signals & Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Control Systems, Microcontrollers, Logic Design, DSP Algorithms & Architecture and Network security. She has good Practical knowledge on subjects such as Digital signal Processing, Analog Communication with good Programming skill on subjects like Microprocessor & Microcontroller.

Additional Responsibilities as per NAAC or NBA :
She was involved in preparing & Updating the documentation for NBA files like Maintaining the Department wise Admission details with Ranks, LIC & AICTE application forms and Grants, Class wise Student List and University Question Papers.
