Mr. Shankara gowda S R is an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering having 8.6 years of experience in various colleges across Bangalore. He is currently pursuing Phd in VTU in the research field Image processing. He is graduated from Acharya Institute of Technology in 2005 and got post graduation from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of engineering, Mysore. He is expertise in the subjects like C, C++, Data Structures, Analysis and Design of Algorithm. He use active and collaborative learning techniques, engage students in experiences, emphasize higher-order cognitive activities in the classroom, interact with students, challenge students academically, and value enriching educational experiences. He presented and published several papers in International Journals and International Conferences. He is one of the organization committee members for the National Conference which was held successfully at DBIT.

Academic & Co-curricular Responsibilities :
Worked as a Class teacher for checking students regularities to class, doing mentoring work and consulting them often to improve their academic and co-curricular activities. Successfully acted as a NBA Co-ordinator, Handled Project and Seminar Coordination also worked as a IA Coordinator for more than 2 times for successful completion of Internal Tests. Worked as visiting faculty at Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education, Bangalore. Acted as Co-convener for National Conference FCS’14 held at DBIT from 15th to 17th May 2016. Actively Involved in CMAT Exams as a co-ordinator and currently working as Time Table Coordinator in the department.
