Mrs. Shruthi.G is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Department having 5 Yrs of Experience in DBIT, Bengaluru. She is currently pursuing PhD from VTU into the researchfield Cloud Computing. she was post graduated from SJCE,Mysore, in the year 2010 with the specialization Network and Internet Engineering. she was graduated from SIT, Tumkur in the year 2005. Her expertise in subjects like C,C++,JAVA and J2EE, Cloud computing. She use active and collaborative learning techniques, engage students in experiences, emphasize higher-order cognitive activities in the classroom, interact with students, challenge students academically, and value enriching educational experiences.

Academic & Co-curricular Responsibilities :
She is very much involved in the academic activities to support the Departmental mission and maintain the functions of Institute. She maintains a progressive record of academic responsibility at DBIT. She is a responsible faculty for ensuring achievement of student learning competencies, collecting assessment data, and submitting Course Summary forms as required. She organized many Quiz competitions among the students to enhance their knowledge out of book and to be updated with the current trends. She has taken additional academic responsibilities like Time Table Coordinator, Guiding Projects, Department Library Incharge, Presentation Session Incharge for International Conference ICCTEST-17 ,Handled Sessions for Singapore Students Immersion Program in 2016 and 2014, Reception Coordinator in National Conference FCSFS-2015.

Courses Handled :
She is one of the Eminent faculty members in our department to handle basic Subjects where strong fundamental knowledge should be imparted to students. She has handled many subjects like Programming in C and DS, System Software, Distributed Operating System, Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Organization and Practical oriented Subjects like Programming in C lab, Data Structures Lab,Unix and Shell Programming Lab,System Software Lab and Computer Graphics Lab. and Post Graduate Subjects like Cloud Computing , Machine Learning and Wireless And Mobile Computing.

She helped in continued updating of the NBA files like PFILES 1 and 2.
