AC + LIC Lab

A course in Analog Communication and Linear Integrated Circuits is an essential part of a well-rounded Telecommunication engineering and Electronics and communication engineering curriculum. With hands-on experiments significantly improving the understanding and visualization of complex subject matters, a series of laboratory experiments have been developed.
The Analog Communication and Linear Integrated Circuits lab course introduces the concept and application of operational amplifiers, timers. Laboratory assignments clarify textbook formulas and examples, as well as help to close the gap between theory and real-life problems.

Course objectives
On completion of this subject, students will be expected to:
Understand the applications of operational amplifiers.
Understand modulation and demodulation techniques used in communication systems.
Analyze signal modulation and transmission techniques.

Course outcome
On completion of this lab students will be able to:
Design basic analog circuits to meet desired needs.
Explain modulation and demodulation techniques.
Design basic filter circuits.
Analyze and design rectifiers and multivibrators.
