Electronic Circuits & Logic Design Lab

This laboratory course enables students to get practical experience in design, assembly and evaluation/testing of analog components and digital circuits including Operational Amplifier, Timer etc. Also students learn digital circuits including Combinational logic circuits. Flip - Flops, Counters, Registers using Flip-flops and Synchronous and Asynchronous Sequential Circuits.

Facilities availableIn this laboratory there are sufficient numbers of
Logic Gates, Analog components like Operational Amplifier, Timer, Registers, Capacitors etc.
IC Trainer kits, CRO’s, Signal Generator, Power Supply, Spring Board etc.
Computer Systems and Projectors for experimental demos.

Course Objectives

Design, Demonstrate and Analyze Operational Amplifier circuits like Schmitt trigger, relaxation oscillator and timer like Astable multivibrator for the given input values and their applications.
Describe, Illustrate and Analyze Combinational Logic circuits, Simplification of Algebraic Equations using Karnaugh Maps Techniques.
Describe and Design Decoders, Encoders, Digital multiplexers, Adders and Subtractors, Binary comparators, Latches and Master-Slave Flip-Flops
