The department of Computer Applications was started in the year 208 affiliated to Bangalore University, Government of Karnataka. Department provides
quality education with an active culture towards learning through assigned projects. The faculty members of the department are highly qualified and
inspired for research in the area of Computer Applications. The infrastructure facility of the department enables the students and staff to develop a
cohesive learning environment. BCA is the professional programs with the broad discipline encompassing subjects related to Computer Applications.
The programs offer a wide range of Technical and Programming skills sets to provide vital knowledge of different field of Computer applications.
The program also includes industrial visits, case study analysis, conferences, workshops and seminars to impart the real applications of the subjects by in
house as well as industry experts in different areas.

The department is well equipped with two computer labs with 95 systems and one digital electronics lab With 10 digital trainer kits. The lab contains LENEVO,
IBM ,HP PRO,HP COMPACT SYSTEMS.
The Department has an excellent infrastructure that includes classrooms equipped with Projectors and signboards.
The library has 600 books for student reference and 138 reference books related to BCA course.
