Mrs K. Krishna veni has done M.Sc., M.phil in physical chemistry and pursuing her doctoral degree in corrosion studies from VTU. She started her career as a lecturer in priyadarshini college of engineering, Tamil Nadu and part time researcher in Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. She joined the academia in the year 2007, presently working as an Assistant professor in the Department of chemistry, DBIT with 11 years of teaching experience. Expertise in corrosion studies and UV spectral studies. Her field of research interest is on characterisation of corrosion, corrosion inhibition and solvent effect on UV spectra. .
Academic and Co-curricular Responsibilities :
She is teaching Engineering chemistry, Engineering Chemistry Lab & Environmental studies to the BE students. As a class teacher he monitors and reviews the progress of individual student present in the section. Being a mentor he takes personal interest to develop mentoring relationship with students. During the weekly mentoring sessions he provides insight on critical thinking skills, self discipline and good study habits. Test coordinator, Class in charge , Mentor, Examiner for BE.
