Being an industrialist his social quotient remained in the area of education which inspired him to establish Wayanamac Education Trust in year 1999, with focus on youth of the society to transform individuals to responsible leaders and entrepreneurs of new age technology by providing quality and value based education. All his hard core earned resources have been curved into leading educational institutions of Bangalore in the name of Don Bosco Group of Institutions. Sri B Bylappa has a wide philanthropic and charitable outlook from his early stage of entrepreneurship which remains today in a physical form of few temples, function halls and basic school education facilities to the needy.
Sri. B. Manjunath, Vice President, BE and MBA with the vast exposure of industrial engineering and management having different portfolios in the industry and top management bodies of bangalore. A strong visionary of the society to create and sustain a professional community of learning, wherein the youth of the nation acquire the relevant knowledge applicable to the industry. He plays the chief mentor role in Don Bosco Group of Institutions in inspiring faculty and staff members for delivering quality based education. Don Bosco reflecting stature of national accreditations and corporate partnerships are the true believes of quality infrastructure and support system conceived by him. As an Executive Director of Prashanth Cylinders Pvt Ltd., was instrumental in expanding its marketing and sales with public and private sector oil companies viz. Reliance Industries, Ashand gas, Asia LPG, Jyothi Gas etc. Being a Mechanical engineer by himself he used to take active interest in all the production aspects of the plant. In order to enhance the production capacity of the plant and to achieve the optimal production, some of his best contribution to industry are installation of shot blasting machine, zinc coating machine cylinder halves cleaning machine, hydraulic pressure testing machine and finally mechanization of cylinder conveying machine. He was instrumental in expanding the business beyond borders and able to achieve the deals to export cylinders to Srilanka Mundo Gas Company. To achieve this, the pre requisite being the production process should be of international standards. He ensured that the company was accredited with ISO: 9001- 2008 QMS Certification by TUV NORD, Germany. Presently he is also treasurer of Bangalore Management Association.
Mr. Raghav B Bylappa, Secretary a qualified engineer with an MBA having exposure to the industry as Joint Managing Director of Prashanth Cylinders Pvt Ltd., Prime Granites Pvt Ltd., Prashanth Hiram Engineering, Prashanth Automobiles, and PRAW WELD. He is the fulcrum of the whole Campus structure which stems the stellar philosophy of Don Bosco Group of Institutions, making the campus a destination for excellence in education, research and consultancy. A self-driven man and vibrant individual turned into a socio academic leader, who passionately inspires the development of Don Bosco Group of Institutions on great heights of success. His dynamic, open, humble and democratic style of leadership propels the group and motivates the budding professionals. His focus is to prepare tech savvy leaders under the frame of ethical, ecological and economic governance for a sustainable growth. Dr. P. Shrinivas Rao is an accomplished professional with 26 years of experience in India carving academic institutions right from inception, covering functional areas like academic administration, strategic branding and integrated campus development. He spent his initial career with multi-national corporations and started his stint in academics in the early 90s. He became the Vice-President and CEO in reputed institutions. He was the Dean of the first Global MBA program in India and coordinated academic exchange programs with leading Business Schools like XLRI, IIM Calcutta, ISB, BHU and IIFT. He lent his experience to various Business Schools as the Founder Director and developed five reputed Engineering colleges across the India. Dr. Shrinivas has written a number of study manual in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Business Environment. He has attended a number of national and international seminars and conferences and presented technical papers. He has guided more than 300 projects at Post-Graduate and 200 projects at Under-Graduate level. He is the Governing and Academic Council member of a number of reputed institutions across the country. His academic credentials include an MBA in Marketing and MBA in HR. He attained his Ph.D. in Marketing. Dr. Shrinivas Rao is expected to add a D.Litt, another distinction, to his illustrious profile, Dr. Shrinivas has been lending his expertise to the Don Bosco Group of Institutions and has passion for digital marketing.
