Prof. M. R. Srinivas has started his teaching career in Sheshadripuram College, as a Lecturer in Commerce, and continued the service for 10 years. Later on, he has taken up the charge as a HOD of Commerce Department in the same college, and worked for another 10 years in the same cadre.. He was later promoted to the post of Vice-Principal in the same college, and worked for another 10 years with the same designation. He had then taken up the complete charge of the administration as a full fledged Principal and worked for seven years till his retirement in the year 2011. Having served and developed the Sheshadripuram College for almost 37 years, he wanted to offer the similar serve, to the field of Education, with same dedication and focus. He has then taken up a new assignment as a HOD of Commerce Department, in Swaminarayan Gurukul of Bidadi, for 5 more years, till 2016. Simultaneously, he has taken up a part-time assignment, to coach Commerce students for C.A. Entrance Examination. Recently he has taken up the charge as a Principal of Don Bosco Independent PU College, in the month of September, 2016.
Skills:Prof M.R. Srinivas is good at Teaching, Administration, Orientation, Team Building, Marketing and Promotional skills. He was regularly conducting Orientation Programmes for Commerce teachers, for improving their teaching skill.
Expertise/Specialization:Prof. M. R. Srinivas has expertised in teaching Costing, Accountancy and Mercantile Law for Commerce students of PU, UG and Professional levels.

Academic Responsibilities :
Prof. M.R. Srinivas, having worked as a Principal of reputed Management Institutions, looked after the day to day general and academic administration. He has been planning and executing the mandatory duties like allotting the subjects, making class timetables, examination timetables, invigilation duty charts, conducting the interviews, appointing the teachers, counselling the parents, teachers, colleagues and students, on various personal and professional issues. He has been organizing the Board and University examinations, supervisory sessions, evaluation sessions and Inspection schedules. He has been organizing various promotional activities, marketing strategies and canvassing events to enhance the quality, strength and prestige of the institutions, wherever he worked.
Co-curricular Responsibilities:Along with his teaching and administrative responsibilities, Prof. M.R. Srinivas, was involved in coaching students for CA entrance examination. He was regularly conducting Workshops, Seminars, Orientation Programmes, to Commerce faculty, to enhance the quality of Commerce teaching. He has been organizing, educational tours, industrial visits, various curricular, co-curricular and sports competitions regularly, in the institutions of his service. He has been a permanent member of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Gandhi Bhavan and the Co-operative Society of Sri Ramapuram, Bangalore and has been actively participating in all their activities and programmes time and again.

Courses Handled :
With his wide experience in the field of Commerce ,Prof. M.R. Srinivas had the privilege of teaching Accountancy for PU students; Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Income-tax to B.Com. students and CPT Examination coaching for CA students . For professionals, he has been offering Orientation, for improving their techniques of teaching in Accountancy and Business Studies.

Research Area :Prof. M.R. Srinivas has worked as a Research scholar for his M.Phil Course, and worked on the project, ‘Financing of small-scale industries by Commercial Banks in Bangalore Industrial Belt’, to suggest the ways and means of generating finance, by the small scale industries, through the banking sector.

Achievements :
• Prof M.R. Srinivas was honoured for his ‘Excellency in Good Administration’, by the Seshadripuram College, as he rendered 37 years of service, for the development of the institution.
• He was honoured by the Ravindra Kalakshetra for having offered the ‘Best Social Service’. He was also honoured at Town Hall by the Gandhi, Buddha and Basava Association for his contribution of ‘Best Social Service’.
