Mrs. Yashaswini D K is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department having 2.5Yrs of Experience in DBIT, Bengaluru. She was post graduated from JNNCE, shimoga in the year 2012 with the specialization Computer Science and Engineering from VTU. She was graduated from AIT, Chikamagalore in the year 2010. She is expertise in subjects like Unix and SHELL Programming in C and JAVA and J2EE. She use active and collaborative learning techniques, engage students in experiences, emphasize higher-order cognitive activities in the classroom, interact with students, challenge students academically, and value enriching educational experiences. She is one of the organization committee members for one International Conferences which was held successfully at DBIT.

Academic & Co-curricular Responsibilities :
She is very much involved in the Curriculum & Program Data Collection, Evaluation, & Analysis - Coordinate the assessment/evaluation of co-curricular programs and faculty development. She is a responsible faculty for motivating the students to interact with the industries to know their future platform. She used to teach lessons through variety of strategies, developing it systematically with proper lesson introduction, development and closure. She has taken additional academic responsibilities like Mentoring, Project guidance and other related activities. She is always supportive to overall growth of the students with respective to academics as well as co-curricular activities.

Courses Handled :
She is one of the eminent faculty members in our department to handle basic subjects where strong fundamental knowledge should be imparted to students. She has handled many subjects like Unix and system Programming, System software, Computer Networks, Computer concepts and ‘C’ Programming.

Additional Responsibilities as per NAAC or NBA :
She helped in continued updating of the NBA.
